We will document the incident and provide immediate basic first aid (all staff are trained in first aid). We will notify you and provide our recommendation regarding vet care. If we determine that another dog was partially or wholly at fault, they will be asked to contribute to the cost of any vet care....
The most common are puncture wounds and scrapes. Most of these do not require vet care, just watching for infection. We also occasionally see pulled muscles and, rarely, broken bones....
By far, the most common incidence of injury is when 2 dogs are having a great time playing and then one ‘crosses a line’, usually by accident. Other things that can lead to misunderstandings:
